Mr Parminder Singh is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery. He has a particular interest in young adult hip disease including femoro acetabular impingement and joint preservation surgery, as well as the use of patient specific instrumentation for keyhole hip and knee surgery. He also has a strong interest in research, and is a Board Member and Education Chairman of the International Society of Hip Arthroscopy & Joint Preservation Surgery and Research Director for Eastern Health.

Having completed his medical degree at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London, UK, Dr Singh went on to complete a two year Orthopaedic Research Registrar position with the University of London. This was followed by a Hip Arthroscopy and Anterior Muscle Sparing Total Hip Replacement Fellowship in Melbourne with Professor John O’Donnell and at the Elective Orthopaedic Centre in Epsom, UK with Professor Richard Field.
During this time he was involved in a number of research projects investigating hip and knee arthroscopy, hip replacement and anterior muscle sparing joint replacement techniques. He has published numerous research papers, a book chapter and presented nationally and internationally.
